March 2006 Archives

According to an ASX announcement released today Reeltime (ASX: FLO) is gonna offer video on demand come June. No predictions on how their business model is going to pan out but I like the sound of their service simply because its going to be offered via a Set-Top-Box. Aside from the obvious ease-of-use this brings, it also says to me that Reeltime "gets it". No one wants to fire up a PC just to download a movie, and no one wants to watch a whole film on their PC!

Now I just hope that the quality is good, the price is reasonable, and they have some decent flicks. If they get the right combination of these 3 factors FLO could be a stock to watch. More to come.
