I've wondered for some time whether it would be possible to install enough toolbars to completely fill the browser window within Internet Explorer. Being the intrepid explorer (hoho) I thought I'd give it a try today.
Because I'm not totally crazy I ran it all inside a VMware sandbox. Took screenshots after each installation and got to 15 before IE refused to display any more toolbars.
After the 12th toolbar (Dogpile's) IE crashed on startup and popped up a zillion error dialogue boxes. Fortunately a reboot of the sandbox fixed that. I also had some difficulty installing C|Net's because they use a popup which was blocked by one of the other 14 toolbars.
